Guided Full Day Trips from Orcas Cove

The paddling a short distance from Ketchikan is superb. Many adventures await paddlers with the time to explore the area. Our full day guided kayaking trips take you by boat to remote Orca’s Cove described in our half day trips. Full day trips offer 4 hours of paddling time.

With additional time we can explore further a field and spend quality time in the vast wilderness of Southeast Alaska. Trip size is limited to six people unless you are a private group. This increases our chances of seeing wildlife and offers a one on one experience with our naturalist guides. All equipment to participate is included as well as rain gear. Dry bags are provided to bring cameras along. Binoculars to share are carried by the guides.

We will take our lunch break on a wilderness beach, giving you the chance to explore the rainforest and beach comb.

We use lightweight touring fiberglass kayaks and fiberglass paddles. While previous experience is not essential we do require participants to be physically active individuals.
