Misty Fjords Day Trip - 2012 Dates TBD
This is an exceptional opportunity for locals to get out to the Misty Fjords and kayak for a day. Participants bring a packed lunch, snacks and water. Southeast Sea Kayaks provides paddle jackets and pants, guests should dress in warm layers and wear Xtra Tuffs or other knee high boots. We will meet at 8am at Southeast Sea Kayaks’ Store and return between 5 and 5:30-pm. Please sign up early: space is limited. We do need a minimum number of participants to be able to run the trip.

Paddle Around Pennock Day Trip
The circumnavigation of Pennock Island is a great day trip for kayakers wanting to launch from downtown Ketchikan. Our guides will teach participants how to enter and exit their kayaks on the beach. Wear Xtra tuffs, or shoes that will keep your feet warm when wet (feet will get wet getting in and out of kayaks on the beach.) Bring your lunch, water and snacks: we will stop for a break at the South end of Pennock Island. Departs our dock at 9:30am and should be back by 3pm.

George Inlet Day Trip
Meet at Mountain Point for a day of exploring George Inlet by Kayak. Our trip route will depend on the weather conditions, but we will aim to explore the area around California Head and Gem Cove. Participants should have enough kayaking experience to be comfortable paddling for 4 – 5 hours during the day. Wear Xtra tuffs, or shoes that will keep your feet warm when wet (feet will get wet getting in and out of kayaks on the beach.) Bring your lunch, water and snacks: we will stop for lunch. Cost is $35 per person. Please call our office to sign up. Meet at Mountain Point at 9:30am. We will aim to return to Mountain Point at 3pm.
